Orlando, FL – This past summer, Grow and Sing Studios launched a new Kindermusik program for the community’s littlest music makers by offering a 5 week summer camp for newborns up to age 3 1/2. Kindermusik is the world’s leading music and movement program for children.

Jingling bells, pounding drums, floating scarves, and little feet moving in time to music are just a few of the sights and sounds parents and children experience at Grow and Sing Studio’s Kindermusik classes. Parents with newborns and toddlers can participate in Kindermusik for a fun, valuable learning experience.

With a highly successful debut summer camp, Kindermusik with Grow and Sing Studios was officially under way. Only 2 months later Grow and Sing Studios started their fall session with double the classes and participating families. They are growing every day!

“Holly and Rachael are both wonderful Kindermusik educators. My daughter Kayla looks forward to going every week. She goes around singing the Kindermusik songs all the time. We love it!” says Kindermusik mommy Dori Diamond of Winter Springs.

According to licensed Kindermusik educators Rachael Joachim and Holly Lesnick, Kindermusik provides a powerful experience for a child and parent. “The many songs and activities in Kindermusik class enhance a child’s total development by strengthening physical, emotional, social and cognitive skills at a very early age,” Holly Lesnick explains. “Kindermusik believes a child’s most important teacher is his or her parent or caregiver . I get to experience firsthand each week the amazing bonds and ties that the parents are creating with their children through musical activities.", says Rachael Joachim.

Holly Lesnick and Rachael Joachim, Licensed Kindermusik Educators and Co-Directors of Grow and Sing Studios, met in music school at Florida State University 15 years ago. Holly earned a Bachelor of Music Therapy and Voice, and Rachael earned a Bachelor of Music Education and Voice. Both are mothers to young children, and are proud to say that their kids are growing up with Kindermusik. For the past 3 years Holly and Rachael worked as Licensed Kindermusik Educators for an already established Kindermusik program. Recognizing a void in the East Orlando community after that program closed due to that director’s relocation, Holly and Rachael created Kindermusik with Grow and Sing Studios. Kindermusik with Grow and Sing Studios offers a full program of Kindermusik classes for children and their caregivers, including Kindermusik Village for newborns – 18 months old, and Kindermusik Our Time for toddlers 18 months – 3 ½ years old. Grow and Sing Studios also offers musical birthday parties for newborns up to age 6. Classes are available Wednesdays and Thursdays at the University Unitarian Universalist Society on McCulloch Rd near UCF.
